Guidelines for Submission of Essays to Fair Ireland Forum

• Essays should be approximately 500 – 750 words in length.
   
• All essays should be grounded in Fairer Ireland Forum (FIF) principles of fairness, social inclusion, accountability, democratic governance, and respect for human rights.
   
• The essays should seek to be policy-orientated with a view to offering constructive and concrete contributions to current public debates. In general essays should be in the style of an op-ed piece, opening with a statement on the nature of the problem followed by evidence based alternatives to current policy approaches and practice, which could include statistical information and/or comparative analysis.
   
• All submissions should be accompanied by a short biography of the author.
   
• Essays should be sent to the FIF Essay Editorial Committee at: fair.ireland.forum@gmail.com.
